Status

The state of something at a glance: a server, a deployment, a user.

variant takes a theme color, or muted:

It also takes a palette color:

dot adds a leading dot; animated makes it pulse, for something live or in progress:

lite replaces the tinted background with a neutral border, and the text takes the body color: only the dot keeps the variant color (status-lite):

Status:Indicator is a larger, standalone marker (status-indicator), e.g. next to a service name on an uptime page. animated makes it pulse. Without an aria-label, it is hidden from assistive technology (aria-hidden="true"), so put the state in the text next to it. With an aria-label, it gets role="img":

Pass children for rich content, and add the dot with Status:Dot. Children replace the whole content, so the dot and label props are ignored:

To keep the dot and change only the text, override the label block:

See Composition for how blocks work.
